Welcome, from Alistair Mork-Chadwick
Counselling Psychologist and Educator
I am a psychologist and training facilitator based in Howick, 25 minutes outside of Pietermaritzburg.
I work one-on-one with clients, and I run training courses and hold workshops, as well as give presentations on a variety of topics. With a Masters degree in both psychology and education, I have over two decades of experience in individual change and development.
I am aware that there is no single approach to helping individuals move from just surviving to thriving, so…
- Training courses may help you… where the group interaction, together with the information I provide, and the sharing of personal experiences, is a powerful precipitant of change.
- Short-term psychotherapy may suit you… where together we work out how your ‘thinking’ mind may be holding you back, identify ways forward and, through engaging with “home-based” exercises, remove the (internal) barriers to progress.
- Long-term psychotherapy may work for you… where together we explore your past in order to help you understand yourself better and begin making the most of the present.
I offer all of the above, as well as brief workshops and seminars, individual assessments, including psycho-educational and career assessments, and parent coaching and support.
